Every good design needs some kind of inspiration. Your inspiration can be as simple as colors from a painting you like or a picture you found on Pinterest. I came across this gorgeous pantry while researching high gloss cabinets.
I love the look of high gloss on cabinets and ceilings but my clients seem to think it looks a bit  contemporary. So when I saw this beautiful “not so†contemporary pantry designed by Kerry Hanson I just had to share the look.
High Gloss paint can and will show any imperfections on the surface you are painting but I think it gives it charm. Â I found that this Sherwin Williams Windy Blue #6240 is just the right blue from my inspiration picture.
You need to get the perfect white paint on base/trim and millwork so your other colors pop. Try Sherwin Williams Alabaster #7008
Oh the warmth of Grasscloth  on the walls!
I am a big fan of antiqued mirrors as a backsplash especially when framed like paneling.  Any mirror company can cut to fit  your project and have it antiqued.
A great inexpensive white marble is Crema Delicato.
Finding a great ceiling light to cast the right light~ similar looks for less
Dressing up windows can be easy with the right yard of fabric.
